中国武汉杂技团是我国建国初期建立的专业杂技团体。五十余年来，在各级政府部门的关怀和支持下，经过几代人的不懈努力和追求，武汉杂技团已发展成具有显著艺术特色和雄厚技艺实力并享誉国内外的著名杂技艺术表演团体。
武汉杂技团较好地继承了中国传统的杂技艺术，先后发展和创新了《顶碗》《转碟》《单手顶》《椅子造型》 《空中飞人》《钻圈》《驯熊猫》等一大批优秀杂技驯兽节目，为新中国杂技艺术的繁荣作出了突出贡献。
武汉杂技团对艺术精益求精，力求技巧与艺术的和谐统一，形成了“技艺交融，艳丽恢宏”的艺术风格。表演的节目既有险峻壮美、超群拔萃的高难技巧，又有赞美生命、展示人类智慧的艺术意蕴；既有朝气蓬勃、奋发向上的精神，又有轻盈流畅、婉转优美的韵味；既注重单项节目的精雕细琢，又突出集体节目的磅礴气势；既保持浓郁醇厚的民族特色，又追求绚丽多姿的时代风貌，给观众以赏心悦目、心旷神怡的艺术享受。
武汉杂技团不仅长期坚持在国内演出，足迹遍及中国各省、市、自治区及港澳台地区，还先后九十余次赴亚、非、欧、澳、南美、北美六大洲140个国家和地区访（商）演，深受国内外广大观众的欢迎和赞誉。武汉杂技团由以夏菊花为代表的著名杂技表演艺术家开创基业，后有一批中、青年杂技表演艺术家承上启下，而今又有一批优秀青少年演员活跃舞台，他们在国内外重大比赛中共取得25金、9银、7铜的佳绩，显示出武汉杂技团雄厚的实力和青春活力。

In its 50--year history,The troupe has well carried out the traditional chinese acrobatics and made remarkable successes in the developement of this art. Such items performed by the troupe as "pagoda of bowls and lithe movements","on the drawboard","trick--cycling", "plate--spinning","balancing a pole on a runing bicycle ","pyramid of chairs", "juggling with feet on a spring bed", "panda training" have been awarded gold medals both at home and abroad warmly welcomed by chinese and foreign audience.
This troupe has long been exploring in the attistic practice,congstantly improving their perfomances and trying to create a uniqueness between skills and arts. The artistic characteristics with mixture of boldness and grace, of grandeur and beauty have been established. The performances are both astounding and skillful, life has been praised. Wuhan Acrobatic troupe of China has been traveling all over china and to nearly 140 countries in the world . By strong skill, They won 25 golden, sliver, brass prize in the home and abroad competes.
